Even the rain didn't stop the kick off of summer fun at the Tautphaus Zoo today. The crowd may not have been large but the show went on. The kick off of the summer Animals Encounters Show was a hit. A chinchilla, a ferret and rabbit were the stars of the stage. The zoo says they are excited for the show that features over 20 select animals. Education curator for the zoo, Alyssa Rod said, "Its a great opportunity for people of all ages to learn a little bit more about the animals, get a little closer and even at the end, get to pet the animals."
