December 3, 2009 Pocatello, Idho---Archers throughout Idaho will gather December 12-13 for the Idaho Open in Pocatello, including gold mentalists and world champions Dee and Reo Wilde.
The competition offers both professional and amateur classes, with professionals guaranteed $1,000 plus payback for first place.
The amateur competition offers youth, women, and men of all experience levels the opportunity to participate. Adult amateur winners are guaranteed $200 for each division, while youth are guaranteed $100.
The public is invited to participate or observe. Observation is free, and participants may preregister before December 20, 2009 for a discounted entry fee. Entry fees accepted at the time of the shoot also.
All proceeds from the pro-am portion of the shoot will benefit the Pocatello Junior Olympic Archery Development program.

Saturday registration starts at 6:30 am at the range located at 8550 Pocatello Creek ; Pocatello, Idaho. Sunday registration opens at 6:30 am with the first arrows to fly at 7.
