ISU football coach's contract renewed

By Ted Dawson

POCATELLO - You can forget the guesswork about the future of Idaho State Football Coach, John Zamberlin. His contract expires at the end of this season, and despite the fact that the Bengals are winless this year, won just a single game last year, are a miserable 4-25 since Coach "Z" came to town, and almost laughable with their ineptitude... not to mention they can't draw flies to Holt Arena, the school has decided to renew his contract for another two years.

Maybe it's just that no quality coach would want to come here, or maybe it's that the school wants to focus on Zamberlin's positives like increased donations, and raised eligibility and graduation rates. Whatever, his future is secure for two more years.
