How does the President's pitch stack up?

IDAHO FALLS - The President certainly came out full of confidence, wearing his Chicago White Sox warm up and all, but all the photographers were told to only shoot from his right side because he's left handed, and you couldn't really see his throwing motion. Still you can kind of tell that it's no Nolan Ryan out there. Actually, Fox was able to sneak in this center field camera shot that shows just how wimpy the throw really was. I suggested he threw like a girl, kind of like my wife Claudia or our sales manager Angela. Angel runs our traffic and LeNea is in charge of continuity. Angie is on our front desk. Let's compare that, to this.

Okay, how about a girl named Tommy? Or one of the more feminine members of our staff? Okay, that wasn't fair. Let's compare the President's throw to morning anchor Justine Beauvais, meteorologist Mandy Ward, co-anchor, Jessica Lauren, reporter Hasti Taghi, or fellow reporter Jennifer McGraw. Let's see how he compares to weekend anchor Araksya Karapetyan. Okay, granted he's not that bad, but let's face it folks, Barack Obama is no George Bush.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
