Whether he's ringing a cowbell to encourage his weight lifters to new heights, or watching his teams run up state football championships, Dale Guilford, is a coaches coach.
The only thing he really cares about is the kids.

Guilford, who took over as Skyline's football coach in 1986, turns 60 this year.
He will stay on as a teacher, but he's decided to give up football.

These players are preparing to try and live up to the Guilford Legacy, state championships in 86, 89 and 92, conference titles eight times, not to mention a 70% winning percentage, and he's leaving with the cupboard full.
A quarterback, Michael Berger with all state abilities, and running back, Max Acey, the fastest football player in the state.

The cupboard is also full in the Grizzly coaching ranks.
Former ISU All American Scott Berger has been the defensive coordinator for 20 years.
