The road to the state volleyball tournament went through Idaho Falls today. The Tigers, who had been upset on Wednesday, started off getting gib hits from Megan Spofford, to beat Madison in three straight games.

Then against the Highland team that beat them earlier, they won three more games, but the final game ended 30-28, when the Rams hit it long on this spike attempt. That set up a third match once again against Highland, and the Tigers start out strong. They force the Rams to play the ball from deep in their court, and finally Kylee Armstrong spikes it home for a 25-23 win in game one. Highland rebounds in game two gehind the big hit from Breanne Van Every to win 25-22. From there, the greater Idaho Falls height takes over, and the Tigers will go to state as district champions, after beating the Rams, three games to one.
