Pocatello - The Idaho State soccer team is preparing for the 2008 campaign by having spring practice on Davis Field. The team will be in Boise for an exhibition on April 12, before returning home to host the annual alumni game on the 17th.

Idaho law allows state agencies to divert some state income tax refunds to pay legal obligations like court fees, child support, and sheriff's garnishments. Taxpayers whose refunds have been diverted have no legal recourse. What do you think of the law?

  • Times are tight. If the state needs the money, this approach is better than budget cuts, tax hikes, etc.
  • I'm entitled to the refund, and the state can just take it? Unfair and ridiculous.
