Student Athlete of the Week - Devin Munk

By Ted Dawson

IDAHO FALLS - When the Idaho Falls fans came racing on the field Friday night after the Emotion Bowl, they could thank Idaho Falls quarterback, Devin Munk who won his second straight game MVP trophy for the Tigers third straight victory over Skyline.

Munk was sensational in the game. He completed 15 of 23 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown, and carried the ball 23 times for an addition 77 yards and three touchdowns.

An all around athlete, the 6'1" 190 pounder has been performing like this all season long, despite a concussion and a leg injury.

By the way, Devin Munk is more than just an outstanding athlete, he's also a perfect 4.0 student.

Devin Munk, a good athlete and an even better student, is a clear choice as our KIDK Student Athlete of the Week. Now, he just has to keep it going.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
