- Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Blackfoot - Idaho
KIDK Student Athlete of the Week
By KIDK Staff
IDAHO FALLS - It's one of the most difficult events in sports, but Rigby Senior, Curtis Peterson handles the pole vault easily, just like he does the hurdles, the sprints, and the relays. The 5'11" 175 pounder is one of the best all around track and field athletes in the state.
Peterson wants to go on an LDS mission after high school, but he's got some goals to accomplish before that. Curtis, who also plays football for the Trojans maintains a 3.8 grade point average. Curtis Peterson, who is already being heavily recruited by Idaho State and Boise State, as a possible decathlete, is a clear choice as our KIDK Student Athlete of the Week. |
