Student Athlete Of The Week - Reeves and Snyder
By KIDK Staff
FIRTH - Colter Reeves from Firth High School is used to holding state championship trophies. During his high school career, he's won them in basketball, football, and track. This latest one, is his third in a row as a starter for the Cougar basketball team.
But Colter, who has already signed a full ride scholarship to play football at Idaho State, has done all this while maintaining a 3.6 grade point average, which makes him a top candidate as our Student Athlete Of The Week. There was another great student athlete in that 2A Championship game last Saturday. Number one is Cody Snyder, a point guard who led the Tigers in scoring, after his first team selection as an all state football player. But it's in the classroom where Cody really scores with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Cody plans to attend BYU and then go on an LDS mission after graduation. So, while Colter Reeves celebrates another Firth State Championship, Cody Snyder can celebrate as an equal candidate as our KIDK Student Athlete Of The Week. |
