IDAHO FALLS - When Idaho Falls Junior Jordan Cox took to the mat for the 140 pound State Championship on Saturday night, he already had a lot of experience going for him. He had placed third in state as a freshman, and second as a sophomore. There was just one thing left, a state championship.

The remarkable thing about Jordan is that he's accomplished this all the while he's had to deal with the debilitating effects of diabetes.

By the way, there's another remarkable thing about Jordan. He's got a 3.927 grade point average.

Jordan Cox who still has a year of high school competition left is a clear choice as our KIDK Student Athlete of the Week.
