They're hanging another state championship volleyball banner at Sugar Salem high school. Just like they did in 2006, and 2007. The common denominator in all three championships, is the play of senior Brooke Hansen.

For Hansen, today's banner was the sixth she's raised in her high school career. Three straight volleyball, two track, and one basketball.

It's been an incredible career for Brooke Hansen. But despite all the athletic championships, they're not her favorite memory.

And now, it's on to college for one of the best athletes in the state.

By the way, in addition to her athletic skills, Brooke also carries a 3.9 GPA. All around student. Brooke Hansen is a obvious choice as our KIDK Student Athlete of the Week.
