TERRETON - High praise from veteran West Jefferson basketball coach, John Tucker about his star, Damon Johnson.

So far, the 6'2" 180 pound senior is averaging 23 points per game, and eight rebounds.

And because of that, Damon is hoping to play at the next level.

Damon, who also plays football and baseball has maintained a 3.9 grade point average throughout his high school career.

Damon Johnson, a terrific athlete and terrific student, is a clear choice as our KIDK Student Athlete of the Week, and he's got some big goals for the rest of the season.
