Kids Hockey League in Full Swing

Chubbuck - The inagural season of the Chubbuck-Pocatello Youth Inline Hockey League has been met with tremendous fanfare as almost 30 kids compete on three teams every Tuesday and Thursday night at the brand new inline hockey facility at Capell Park in Chubbuck.

A major reason why this league has taken off so quickly is it's partnership with the Portneuf Valley Family Center. The collaboration has given kids the opportunity to play hockey, free of charge, and make some friends in the process.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
