Ever since the first game of the year, the Hillcrest Knights have refused to lose.
They fall behind Mountain Home in the first, when Kyle Kerfoot drops back to pass...... to Jesse Donez in the end zone..... touchdown..... it's 7-0........ back come the Knights..... Devin Droghei goes right up the middle for his 25th touchdown of the year, and it's 7-6...... watch the kickoff....... Ricky Lee hands to Jesse Donez on the reverse, and look out...... he's off and running for 80 yards before being pulled down......... from the seven, Kerfoot with the perfect pass to Ricky Lee, and Mountain Home leads 14-6....... from the 29, the Knights give it to Jordan Speirs..... all alone for the score..... it's 14-12....... next kickoff..... Ricky Lee fakes the reverse this time, keeps it himself and takes off down the right sideline...... 81 yards later, Mountain Home leads it, 21-12....... just before the half, the Knights are at the six..... Devin Droghei takes it around the left side....... touchdown..... Hillcrest dominates the game in the second half, And with ten straight victories, the Hillcrest Knights will play for a state championship after beating Mountain Home, 49-43. |
