IFFD Pipes and Drums band fundraiser
IDAHO FALLS - St. Patrick's Day has lots of traditions such as wearing green, and eating corned beef and cabbage. Here in Idaho Falls, we have a tradition as well; the Idaho Falls Fire Department's Pipes and Drums band's annual Pub-Crawl through downtown Idaho Falls.

Besides civering their costs, funds are raised for various charities such as the Idaho Falls Food Banks.

Those in attendance were able to donate through monetary donatioans or buying pint glasses and t-shirts.

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
