More help for Haiti
IDAHO FALLS - Our own Channel 3 news family volunteered at the Hardback Cafe in Hastings, Saturday, to raise money for the Red Cross Relief for Haiti.

With Haiti still in desperate need of all the help they can get, morning anchors Tommy Noel and Justine Beauvais got behind the counter and made some cash for the devastated country.

From 11am - 1pm Saturday, they mixed special drinks, served samples throughout the store, and called attention to the opportunity to donate some cash to the relief effort.

But those customers who donated to the bucket were not the only ones giving. Heather Parson, a Barista at Hardback Cafe, said, "All of the baristas have decided to give away all of their tips to the Relief for Haiti, also Hastings decided to donate."

And after the two hours of hard work and fun, the whole team made over $60 for Haiti relief.

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
  • Not sure.
