Officers find Inkom man hiding in ceiling
INKOM - A local man is in custody after hiding from law enforcement for about five hours.

After searching his home, officers used a K-9 to locate Gordon Graves in the ceiling of a house that is under construction.

Inkom Police were called to the area of Snow Peak Blvd. Saturday morning when Graves allegedly violated a no contact order.

The Bannock County Sheriff's Office was called in to help when Graves couldn't be contacted in the home. Chief Deputy Jim Dalley, Bannock County Sheriff's Office said, "Everybody worked really well together. We had, like I said, a multi-jurisdictional swat team so we got people from all over. They were out here a long time, and they were just persistent."

Graves will be booked on charges of probation violation and a domestic violence order.

Other charges could be filed soon.

  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
