AF Teacher accused of having sexual relationship with student arraigned
AMERICAN FALLS - The teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student appeared in court Thursday.

William Hamilton, charged with two counts of sexual battery of a minor, is now under house arrest and is required to wear an ankle monitor.

Hamilton allegedly started the relationship two years ago, and police reports indicate the two had 50 sexual encounters.

He is not allowed any contact with the alleged victim or her family, and can't be near American Falls High School.

Hamilton's next court hearing is scheduled for February 9.
