Cutting-edge Engineering Inventions
By Steven Pope
REXBURG - What could you do with pulley's, a car battery, and a car light?
Well, engineering students at BYU-Idaho put together some interesting contraptions. One operates with infrared and audio sensors to scare people when they turn a corner. Other students created products that would be a little more useful for the "day-to-day" user. "First and foremost, it's a business. You're looking to sell a product. If you think you have a really good idea, it's more important to understand that your customer thinks you have a really good idea," said BYU-I student Nick Montgomery. The crazy train, as the students call it, will end up at the Haunted Mill if you want to check it out next October. |
