BONNEVILLE COUNTY - "It's kind of hard believing he's not here. It shouldn't of happened and it's hard to accept it," says Clint Risenmay, Wesley's friend.

The body of 17-year-old Wesley Wagner of Idaho Falls was found 10 days after he went missing. He was found laying in the snow 14 miles east of Idaho Falls off Jepps Road at 2pm yesterday.

Based on the investigation, the Bonneville County Detectives have determined that the cause of death resulted from an accidental shooting.

"Search and rescue were able to locate him and his vehicle yesterday afternoon," says Sgt. Doug Metcalf, Bonneville County.

Wesley's mother filed the initial missing report, telling police he left upset with a rifle and two shotguns... This after he and his girl friend had broken up. Friends and family weren't too worried about Wesley harming himself or others, he was a hunter and they thought he would return home safely.

"He was having some hard times and drove up to the mountains," says Risenmay.

"Unless you specifically went down that road, you wouldn't see the vehicle," says Sgt. Metcalf.

A road not heavily traveled, the road Wesley died on.

"It just doesn't seem like something he would do," says Risenmay.

Friends and family are devastated and don't understand how something like this could've happened.

"They're taking it pretty hard. The one's that are close to him are taking it very hard. He's missed by everyone," says Risenmay.

Clint is trying to raise money to help give his friend a proper burial.
