Vocabulary 'Not learned from TV'
By Steven Pope
REXBURG - The annual Idaho Family Read week is underway at the Madison County Library.
This year's theme is "Wild about Reading." The library is helping kids learn vocabulary through hand motions and visual aides. "Vocabulary is something that isn't acquired watching tv as much as it is acquired by listening and conversation with parents and through reading books," said Vivian Milius the Children Librarian. The library also has a new display for kids to match animals with their footprints. |
