REXBURG - The owners have decided to close the doors of the sandwich shop and intend to look for a buyer.

Apparently the shop hasn't been making money for sometime.

Employees didn't see it coming. At 9pm Wednesday night, employees who were off duty were called and informed that they shouldn't come in the following day for work.

As hard as it is to find a job in Rexburg because of all the competing BYU-Idaho students, it's tough news for those who were let go.

Gandolfo's is a New York style sandwich franchise.
