Pocatello jeweler offers discounts for helping those in need
By Wes Horrocks
POCATELLO - A jewelery store is helping the Idaho Foodbank, and early holiday shoppers with a new promotion.
If you bring a donation for the Foodbank into Jensen Jewelers on Hurley drive, you get 50% off your purchase. The sale has drawn a lot of interest. Several people have even brought in donations without buying anything. Jason Rollene, Store Manager said, "A lot of people are taking advantage of it. It's pretty neat to see. A lot of people are doing their Christmas shopping earlier, and that's what we're seeing right now is a lot of people coming in and getting Christmas savings way before Christmas." The Foodbank supplies items to 200 partner agencies. Last year, they supplied 6.8 million pounds of food. |
