BLACKFOOT - The Bingham County Commissioners wrap up a public hearing Tuesday night.

According to Commissioner Cleone Jolley, they are looking for public input into a zoning ordinance that they have been working on for three years. This is their 13th draft of the ordinance.

The ordinance deals primarily with land use countywide. It would affect division rights and subdivisions.

No decision was made Tuesday night. All input will be reviewed by the planning and zoning and commissioners in a future meeting.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
