Book sale to benefit Marshall Public Library
By Wes Horrocks
POCATELLO - The Marshall Public Library is permanently checking out thousands of books this weekend.
The group, Friends of the Marshall Public Library, is holding their semi-annual book sale. Friday until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. they will have tables packed with books you can pick up for as little as $0.50. The money is used for a variety of extra items around the library. Eliza Schmidt, Friends of the Marshall Library President said, "We buy toys for the children's department. We buy carts. We buy the big TV that advertises goings-on in the library. Just things that aren't normally in the budget." Checks are not allowed so make sure you bring cash to the sale. |
