BLACKFOOT - No changes will be made for Blackfoot's elected positions this year.

City council seat #2 will stay with Chris Gardner who ran unopposed.

City council seat #1 will stay with incumbent Chris Jensen who received 793 votes, for 52% total, besting Mark May who finished with 725 votes and 48% overall.

In the mayoral race, incumbent Mike Virtue was re-elected to another four-year term after defeating Butch Hulse and Mary Morrison. Virtue ended the night with 790 votes, 51% overall. Hulse finished with 609 votes for 40%. Morrison finished with 138 votes, 9% in all.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?
