AMMON - Ammon business owner, Steve Fuhriman defeated incumbent, Bruce Ard to become the new mayor in the City of Ammon. Fuhriman was elected with 834 votes, good for 46% overall.

Ard was given 707 votes for 39% and Rick Adolpho finished with 260 votes, 14% in total.

Council Seat #4 will stay with incumbent, Dana Kirkham who ran unopposed.

In the race for the vacated City Council Seat #2, Russel Slack bested 4 other candidates with 618 votes and 36% of the total votes in that election.

The nine candidate run off for the vacant Council Seat #6 came down to a two-man race between Sean Coletti and Brad Christensen. Christensen received 662 votes for 39% total, but was defeated only by 14 votes as Coletti won the seat with a total of 676 votes and 40% overall.
