Construction closes Idaho 48 in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY - If you use Highway 48 in Rigby for your commute, you'll need to find an alternate route for the next month.

Construction begins Monday on Idaho 48 from 3800 East to 3rd West.

Traffic will be detoured north or south around the construction zone.

When the entire project is completed, Idaho 48 will be three lanes in this area.

This is one of the eight projects in our state using federal stimulus funds for road construction.
