Idaho business climate discussed in Pocatello
By Wes Horrocks
POCATELLO - Idaho businesses need to focus on educating, and preparing a quality workforce-that was the message to the Pocatello Rotary Club Thursday.
Doug Sayer, the Idaho Business Leader of the Year and CEO of Premier Technology, delivered the speech. Sayer also told the audience that economic change will come from companies that produce, not those looking to make money on a deal. Doug Sayer said, "I think it's an important opportunity for business leaders to come together, and to share openly what those challenges are so we can come up with creative ways to solve some of the long-term issues that our country is going to be facing." Premier Technology recently started expansions at their Blackfoot facility, and are planning a new plant in Mackay. |
