Pocatello man facing lewd conduct charges

POCATELLO - A local man is in jail tonight charged with lewd conduct with a child under 16.

55-year-old Nixon Thurman allegedly had contact with the child in the southern part of Bannock County on June 22nd.

The Bannock County Sheriff's Office started an investigation on July 6th.

They aren't releasing much information about the contact in order to protect the victim.

Thurman is being held on $10,000 bond.
