Madison FD getting flagpole

MADISON COUNTY - Madison County's fire department is getting a new flagpole.

2-thousand dollars were raised by an eagle scout project to erect a flagpole right here.

As soon as the cement dries, a hole will be drilled.

Chief David Davis said, "The station here in Rexburg has never had a flag pole on it. It's been kind of fun to watch this young man go through this project of creating a plan coming up with a solution how to get the money to put a flag pole in."

Part of the money was raised at a chili cookoff last friday.
