Small plane crashes near Burley, injures two

BURLEY, ID - It happened Wednesday morning shortly after takeoff. The plane went down near the Burley Municipal Airport, but not before taking out several power lines and cutting power to a large portion of downtown Burley.
The student pilot and instructor were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not known as of Wednesday night, but the instructor did tell police the plane lost power just before the crash. |
