IDAHO FALLS - T.E.A. partyies have struck a nationwide grassroots movement. Idaho Falls, was definitely one on the map. Even in the pouring rain, these patriots wouldn't let that put a damper on their day.

Rallying together, they want to show Washington it's time to turn the nation around.

"There's some changes taking place in the country, that if the founding father's knew about, I think they'd roll over in their graves," says Daren Yancey.

What they call socialism and over spending.

"We're out here to protest the massive spending and taxation now forced upon us by our own government, just like the British did so many years ago," says Andi Elliot, event organizer.

Among the many guests was Idaho Senator Mel Richardson.

"They say there are two thousand of these "tea parties" going on in America today. Two thousand of them!" says Richardson.

"I think people feel it in their bones. They feel that there's something wrong," says Yancey.

"Through the unity we have power and we've got to impress upon the people that they need to contact their representatives and we can't give up. We have to keep going," says Elliot.

This demonstration wasn't for one party over another, but Mr. Rammell's announcement brought politics into the mix, and well, that didn't go over too well.

"If you can't support me in this than you're not patriots... I'm running for the United States Representatives," says Rex Rammell.

But either way the country has heard what Idaho Falls has to say about the changes being made in the White House.
