T.E.A. party rally in Pocatello
POCATELLO - "We have to support and defend our country and I think the best way to do that is to stay organized as a group."

Dozens of people made up that group participating in a TEA party rally. Why a T-E-A party? Because they're taxed enough already.

"which one of us with our families would sit down if we're going through a hard time sit down and say 'hey honey let's spend some more money'."

Spending more money is why people are taking part in this nationwide event turning tax day into a protest day and voicing their concerns about higher taxes and government spending.

Behind the rally, ordinary folks, both democrats and republicans, all stirred up with the ways of our government and worried about what will happen to our country.

Some believe a socialized U.S. is underway and the current administration will more and more take away our freedom.

One of the biggest reasons people made their way out, for their families, wanting a change now, so their children and grand children will have a better life later on.

Being a physical body at the rally hopes to send a bigger message than just an e-mail or telephone call and is a way to encourage others to take part and step up for their beliefs.

This rally is just one of hundreds and hundreds across the U.S. where people are trying to make a change.

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
  • Not sure.
