WEST YELLOWSTONE - Snowmobile riders and enthusiast from all over the west came to West Yellowstone for the World Snowmobile Expo.
Whether it's out on the race track, or inside the Holiday Inn, Snowmobilers have taken over West Yellowstone this weekend.
With sleds on display, after market products and all kinds of other stuff, there's something for everyone at the Expo.
One of the highlights is four main manufacturers unveiling their new sleds for the first time to the public.
"We've got new colors and a bunch of new options under snowcheck. So we've got a lot of new stuff to show off at expo this year," says Polaris Manager Brett Jensen.
But how is the economy affecting this year's event?
"We've been very concerned but as you can see, we have a lot of people that came and it's Friday, just the beginning of our weekend," explains Event Coordinator Marge Wanner.
To help get people to the event, the manufacturers got together and have paid for everyone's admission to come see their products.
But let's see them out on the snow. Earlier today, was the Manufacturer's Open Challenge.
This event has hosted Winter X Games gold medalists, Blair Morgan and Tucker Hibbert in the past.
After just one turn, the race has to be restarted. Rules say if four or more sleds crash in the first turn, the race is reset.
Right off the bat, defending champion, and St. Anthony native, Colby Crapo takes the lead. And he's not giving it up; taking home the checkered flag.
"On the restart, I got a good start and was able to get out in front. Clear vision, and just kinda ride your race. So everything went pretty good," says Crapo.
There will be seven different race venues, so even though you missed out on this one, there's still plenty more to see including drags and freestyle.
Whether you come to see the new sleds, the races or just for the event, the expo has a little bit of something for everyone. Make sure you come check it out, it lasts all weekend.
