POCATELLO - A Pocatello woman who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery was sentenced Monday.

Christine Evans will spend five years on probation and must complete the Share Program, a drug and alcohol treatment program at the Bannock County Jail, or a private treatment program.

She must also pay $2,600 of restitution.

Evans, you may remember, was one of two women who lured migrant workers to an apartment in Pocatello where a man would appear with a gun and rob them.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
