New leaders take office

POCATELLO - A new Bannock County Commissioner was sworn into office in a short ceremony this morning.
Karl Anderson takes the place of Lin Whitworth who was defeated in the primary election last May. Anderson is eager to get to work, and is hopful that the commissioners will be able to work in a non-partisan way. Karl Anderson, new Bannock County Commissioner said, "We can't be worrying about party lines anymore. We've got to worry about what's good for the county residents and take care of business. That's the main thing for me." Steve Hadley was also sworn into another term as a County Commissioner and became the Chairman of the Commission. And Mark Heideman is now starting his 5th term as Bannock County Prosecuting Attorney. |
