A local museum is honoring the military by offering free admission to all veterans.

The feature exhibit at the Collectors' Corner Museum in Idaho Falls honors those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Veterans and families have donated personal items, from uniforms to equipment.

The co-owner of the museum is also a veteran and helped spearhead this exhibit, which runs until November 15th.

"There's some kind of connection you can't put into words with Veterans. We all have that certain connection. You get two vets together and we can talk all day, because we make good friends," says Jim Gyorfy.

The free admission for Veterans is also in connection with the museum's five-year anniversary.

The Collectors' Corner Museum is located at 900 John Adams Parkway in Idaho Falls. They are open Tuesday-Saturday.

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
  • Not sure.
