By Nate Eaton

SUGAR CITY - Crews began sandblasting and repainting a historic water tower in Sugar City Monday.

The tower has been around since 1915 but hasn't been used since the 90's.

However, Sugar City is earning about 700 dollars a month from cell phone companies that are renting the tower.

The project will cost 25 thousand dollars and should be complete within the next two weeks.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
