IDAHO FALLS - A fiery crash sends one man to the hospital. Everyone on scene including investigators are amazed that no one was killed in the accident.

This is all that is left of the pick-up truck that 21 year old Sarah Ann Orme, of Firth, was driving.

She was struck while she was in the intersection of Sunnyside road and Yellowstone highway, around 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

The Idaho State Police tell Channel 3 Eyewitness News, 41 year old Anastacio Carranza-Gomez, of Blackfoot, caused the accident.

Several eyewitnesses reported seeing the Buick speeding past them on the highway.

Orme was able to get out before she was burned by the flames. She was not injured...Carranza-Gomez, the driver of the Buick was taken away in an ambulance, he is in fair condition at EIRMC. Idaho State Police are investigating the crash and say alcohol did play a roll in this. No word yet if charges will be filed.
