YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - Fire crews are battling a large fire in Yellowstone National Park.

The fire was started by a power line which runs in a utility corridor between Fishing Bridge and Canyon.

The LeHardy Fire north of Fishing Bridge was estimated at 600 acres Wednesday night.

Gusty winds pushed the fire east across a road and then jumped across the Yellowstone River.

This is the third fire in Yellowstone National Park this season.

However, the fire does not pose a threat to visitors.

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
  • Not sure.
