SALMON - New information tonight on the airplane crash at the Lemhi County airport.

Twenty-three-year old Andrew Scott Patrick of Boise was able to walk away from the crash without any injuries.

Lemhi County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call just before 4pm Monday afternoon. When they got to the airport, they found the single-engine cessna more than 100-yards off the north end of the runway.

Initially, we were told there were two people aboard the plane, but today it is confirmed the pilot was the only person in the plane.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing, but authorities believe a strong gust of wind caught the plane as it was taking off.
