Girl Drowns

GARDEN CITY, UT - A 14-year-old Oregon girl drowned in Bear Lake Tuesday afternoon.
Eyewitness News has learned Mallory Parsons was swimming near an inflatable family raft when she went underwater and did not come up. Parsons' cousins called out to the shore for help, and other swimmers called 9-1-1. She was found in eight feet of water about 15 minutes after she went under at Ideal Beach near Garden City, Utah. They could not revive her. She was then transported to Logan Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead. |
