A high speed chase takes police from 1st Street to 17th in Idaho Falls, just before midnight
Deputies were dispatched to a home on Tie Breaker because Kevin Parker was threatening suicide.
He took off when police got there.
Deputies were told Parker intended to use his car to kill himself, by ramming into oncoming traffic.
Once on 17th street a deputy rammed Parker's car near Falcon, but Parker kept going.
He finally he gave up on 17th and Balboa.
Parker was taken and booked in the Bonneville county jail for aggravated assault, felony eluding, and D.U.I.
No one was hurt.
