D91 Gets Text Alert System

The Idaho Falls School District is joining the ranks of schools using a text message alert system created by locally based Txt Wire.
District 91 was initially hesitant to join, but announced today that starting this Fall, parents, staff and students will be able to sign up for alerts through Txt Wire. The company allows schools to notify people of schedule changes, events and emergencies in only seconds. It's popularity among schools blew up when the Bonneville Joint School District became the first to offer the service earlier this year. |
