Nestled in the rocky mountains...the quaint town of Montpelier has only about 2500 residents.
The town is not home to any big companies and has never gotten much attention from one...until now.

"they came down and looked at a lot of south-east Idaho cities"

With it's reasonable cost of labor, low property taxes and location... Montpelier was the obvious choice for the new plant by Seattle-based company...triad resorts.
The company partnered with moteri management to open the plant. It will be used to assemble environmentally-friendly buildings to be trucked out for a new green-hotel chain as well as a green casino in Jackpot, Nevada.

"We are happy to have them here..."

"The use of this unused land will not only create jobs for locals but will bring in more residents. City officials expect around 70 new families."

"About half the jobs will be filled by people locally and half of them will be recruits from out of town."

Around 150 jobs will be created paying around 12 to 17 dollars per hour. There will also be a number of administrative jobs. The construction of the plant is expected to begin in the next 90 days and operations should start next March.
