BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho got a big donation from an Idaho family. A roughly 2,600 square foot donation, in fact.

The Idaho Statesman reports that David and Robin Thomas donated a five-bedroom home on the Eagle Hills Golf Course in honor of their son Dash, who died from a brain tumor in 1999.

Their son wanted to help other children with malignant tumors so the Thomases established a pediatric cancer research endowment at OHSU in Portland, Oregon.

Now that they live in Idaho, they decided to give their Eagle home to Make-A-Wish to generate investment seed money to fund future wishes.

The home will be auctioned off on April 5.
