Cause of Christmas House Fire Determined

Bannock County detectives say an electrical malfunction caused the fire that burned an Arimo home to the ground on Christmas Day.

They say the fire began in the attic.

Fortunately, no one was home when the fire broke out at one in the afternoon.

Firefighters battled the flames for several hours, but couldn't save the house.

The family was able to salvage some personal items.
