IDAHO FALLS - Daren Palmer will have another day in court this month. I spent the afternoon going through countless court documents... 58 pages of previous deposition testimony from Palmer himself, 15 pages of the original civil action filed against Palmer by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. There are countless other court documents that date back to just after the first of the year.

Daren L. Palmer, of Idaho Falls, investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission for possible violations of Idaho's securities laws.

The Idaho Department of Finance has ordered Palmer and his company, Trigon Inc., halt all investing operations.

Records show countless everyday investors have lost millions of dollars with Palmer, while he allegedly used this money to payback other investors and build a mansion in South Idaho Falls.

The case reaches far beyond Eastern Idaho. Federal district court dockets have been filed in several states like Wyoming, California, Florida, Utah, Nevada, even South Carolina and Hawaii.

Palmer's next court appearance is set for April 23, at 9:30 am... in Boise. He will need to show to U.S. District Judge, Edward Lodge if there is any known reason that an injunction should not be filed against him to keep him from doing any further business.

For now, Palmer's assets are being held by Wayne Klein of Lewis B. Freeman & Partners, Inc., which is a forensic accounting firm.

We want to let you know, we are staying on top of this story, because sadly it affects many of you and the economy of Eastern Idaho.
